Loki Goes Here, There and Back Again

Haven't been writing for a while here because of having assignments that I have already bulldozed through (thank God!) and that I sacrificed watching last Saturday's Dalek episode of Dr Who for a friend's 18th birthday party, which was great! Not only did I have fun, but I've obtained live footage of the party as well via my video camera! And also footage the night before when the birthday boy and his friend decided to come over my place. Luke was very happy on receiving a dragon dagger for his present given by both of us. I should be lucky that a relative of mine had taped the episode during the night of the party too. Halfway between the party the tape that I had for recording use ran out so I didn't get to record to the end of the party and also because I got picked up by my parents. I should get more tape one of these days. I'll say this again, Happy 18th Birthday, Random!!

I was lucky that one of my relatives recorded that on tape. Now that I think about it, liking sci-fi runs in the family :)

Minor updates

I've updated this blog a little bit today due to boredom. I managed to remove the hideous blogthis and navbar component and installed a random quote generator, added a few more links and changed the "About me" area of the blog to make it different. I tried doing a dropdown archive modification that lists by title, but I didn't find any. Ah well.

I'm glad I got rid of it :) Not having the bar makes the layout more prettier.

As They Say, "Thank God it's Friday"

Is it just me, or is Kelmscott Senior High School flooded with people who have labels on their heads? I don't know about you, but I do see a lot of people with labels on their heads, Don't you?

The school week has been so-so for me but it's the English teacher who's copping the lot at the moment. I've been away on Wednesday because of my SBWL placements, like the other people in the classroom and the senile fossil won't let us copy the notes on a videotape about Nelson Mandela from someone else because like I said, I had my placements every Wednesday (I do hope he keeps records for the sake of his fading memory, which he has even admitted to even). Even the exchange student from Columbia has been complaining about our teacher. I hope he won't cause the failure of our entire Senior English class.

Well, not all of us are morons at KSHS and Mr Seabrook is better than who we have for English at the moment. I wonder what the council's verdict will be for this? and I wonder if Ashley did something yet?

It's Frickin' Freezing!

Today must be the coldest day in history at K.S.H.S. We were to preoccupied with the cold to sit down and eat our food as we normally would because of this biting weather. At least it didn't rain as bad as Perth on Wednesday last week where I just walked like a maniac in the rain with my older sibling having the black umbrella instead of me. (I know, how kind of me to spare my umbrella)I still decided to walk home without the umbrella and gave it to her again to shelter herself and prevent her oh-so-precious liquid eyeliner from running as if she were crying about something. The rain didn't stop her from wearing her fishnets though, and the some of the upper school girls weren't stopped from wearing skirts in this weather either. Either they've got guts or they're insane. I personally don't mind the winter weather myself, I wish the school would allow us wear our own jackets or jumpers for the season because I could do with my black trenchcoat on in this weather.

The Stupid Old Senile Man & Us

I'm so glad I got the English workpile chopped down to size last night after the English teacher Mr Maughan told me to redo them after he said that he wasn't satisfied with them. We have this old man for a teacher for the rest of year 12 Senior English because Mrs Freeman who we had previously as a teacher left us to go to another school. Personally, I'd rather have Mrs Freeman back rather than have the stupid and senile Mr Maughan for the rest of the school year and have the majority of us fail for Senior English. Even Ashley is blaming him for not passing year 12 and not being ever eligible to attend graduation when the time comes and to make matters interesting, she is getting her previous English work reviewed by other English teachers to prove that she deserves a better grade than what we are getting for the semester and thus trying to prove him wrong that she can pass. He thinks that we are nothing but whinging teenagers, My sister also happens to be in the same English class (which is weird, because she has two English classes) tried to reason with the old git and ask him for the result papers to see where I went wrong in my previous assignments, but the ancient fossil of an English teacher absolutely refuses to listen! God knows what will become of our already falling-to-bits Senior English class.

Well, just about everyone in the English class is waiting for the fossil to drop dead or at least, retire and I changed my layout because the Hellsing one used previously malfunctioned on me and despite this layout being one of the many defaults available here, it will make it easier to navigate anyway due to complaints filed previously.

Just to let people know of the changes. Gotta remove some links though because they're not functioning namely, Attack of the Nazi Midget and Carpe Noctem. I wonder what happened to those blogs?

Moody? Maybe. But they could be having their time of month or they would like other people to leave them in peace to resolve matters on their own.

Sorry, I've got a very bad habit of being too serious, I can't take jokes that well because of having a lot of c*** dished out at me since I've moved from Malaysia to Australia, so yeah.

Yesterday and Today

My hair is cut shorter because yesterday I ended up having a haircut at the local hairdressers down the road and had it styled to boot. The hairdresser was happy because I gave her free reign when it comes to creativity. Today I got attacked by a hair dryer and hair spray (Taft and V05)by my sibling who decided to style my hair even though it was a bit damp. I got out looking like I've been electrocuted, but it's better than nothing. Heh, heh

Out and about

As always, this week we all had nothing but rain, rain and more rain, but despite their warnings about the weather, I've decided to get out and about and go to both Maddington and Perth instead of staying at home and being all cooped up in there. Of course I wasn't alone in my travels because my sister came with me. We did our first stop at Maddington and it's shopping mall to catch up on my sis's BF and his mate from Tafe this afternoon. I found his friend to be a bit of a show off and an idiot. We went walking around and visited many a store there that sparked our interest and then we both headed off and parted ways for Perth. During our walkaround in Perth, I actually didn't mind the rainy and cold weather, I found it amusing how people have their umbrellas with them during the time and I walked in the rain because I didn't mind getting wet. I mean come on, IT'S ONLY WATER for God's sakes! I also went to my favorite store in Perth which is Quality Comics. But I didn't get anything from there because the comic series I wanted was sold out and I was quite pissed off at hearing that. My sister dragged me to the various clothing outlets in Perth (but a few of them, not all of them) which I find very annoying, guess I should be thankful this doesn't involve her group of people, otherwise I would get dragged to every clothing outlet there is Perth.

I know JB Hifi has only anime. I know about empire toys because I have been there before but I knew nothing about Fun Fair. I wonder if Fun Fair has any O.S.Ts?

The first soundtrack I got was actually from Sydney, but I'd hate to live there despite them having as much shopping malls as Malaysia

New Month

It's been awhile since I've posted on this. As people notice, I have put numerous banners leading to different online comics to hopefully kill boredom while you're here (there are other comics here, but they don't have banners yet, I fear). I feel proud of this blog because it's been a month and a bit, yay! (even though people around the world have their archives fuller than mine at this point) Thank goodness for having some comments on here. Now is the end of the first week of upper school exams in Kelmscott senior high school and some people are still hacking at the test papers, but I'm not worried because I only had one exam which was done and over with last Monday.
