Aussie, Aussie, Aussie; Keep The Noise To A Minimum!

My parents were actually quite worried about me and my sister with a bunch of friends going to Perth and King's Park for the Australia Day celebration because they knew it was going to end late at night; they actually worried themselves shitless and told us to call up on our friends repeatedly to check up to make sure they were getting to the train station (the Kelmscott one, where we all decided to meet up with the rest of them), told us to stick in a group and bring our own drinks to make it a bit of an inconvenient hassle on us teenagers. The ride from Kelmscott to Perth was a tad crowded (luckily we all got seats for our "group" of people) and of course, unbearably noisy to my annoyance because of a rather rowdy and alcoholicly equipped group who decided to sit near us and also the arrival of a man bearing a guitar and performing in front of everyone. I was quite relieved to get off the train once we have arrived at Perth and because Mike was carrying a big bag, he had to get it inspected by not one, but two of the many cops positioned within the station before we headed off to King's Park, and lost two people in the sea of people; Nikita and her friend, who was getting carried away by her "boyfriend" so we all just gave up and hurried on our way to King's Park despite Mike's complaints and his need to fill the coke and HJ's addiction. The fireworks was ranging from ok to mediocre, in my opinion, but at least we all had the good view. The train on the way home got too much for me because of the aboriginals being way too loud though.

Something From The Pictures

Every friend of mine who came down to Perth yesterday had no work whatsoever! Which of course is great, because we had all day to do whatever we wanted :) During the meet-up at the trainstation my sister sneaked a sour jelly worm into my Coke Zero and it fizzed up everywhere! All you could hear was a fizzing sound a few seconds later, "Krysia, you fuckwit!" and of course the laughter of many a friend and relative around me at the time. The jelly worm dissolved and became very soft and squigy, but still edible to my friend's amazement and disgust. The beach was the first place we all went to (because we haven't went there for ages). Krysia was quite reluctant to get into the water because of it's coldness. After a bit of persuasion and a few King Kong impressions later, Adam manages to get both himself and Krysia into the water. Michael, myself, Adam and Matthew buried Krysia (who looked like a sphinx knock-off afterward) who had trouble getting out :P We packed our bags and headed to Perth and looked around places for the rest of the day before returning home, exausted.

The Two or More Problems

On Saturday I remembered asking for extra hours at Red Rooster and turns out that I can´t get any extra hours because of the Part-time people (the Manager says that they come first between the Part-timer and the Casual people working there) and plus Red Rooster has *a lot* of part-time people working there, so that a big bummer for me, ah well. I also found out that I could actually play Playstation one games on my PS2 (I didn´t know this until now, how embarrassing!), but the problem is that I couldn´t save the game I was playing (which was Final Fantasy VIII, my favorite FF game of all time) because either the memory card or game CD itself said that it failed reading the memory card, so I was thinking of retrieving my old PS 1 and sticking its memory card into the PS2 to test it to see if saving the game progress on the PS1´s memory card was possible. I looked and looked for the thing in the computer room cupboard and couldn´t find it *anywhere* and plus my mum, being the bitchy and unhelpful woman she is didn´t lift a finger to help me find it and to make it worse, she was the one who packed it and couldn´t remember where she put it exactly! I was quite upset about not finding it and I tried to hunt for it again earlier this morning, but to no avail. Maybe they could´ve gave it away by accident, I hope they didn´t

All Our Yesterdays

I went to Perth, Northbridge yesterday to pick up my art file that I sent for Tafe submission ages ago last year to get into my first choice of four courses chosen; it happens that two of my friends (one of which I have known since primary school) is enrolling for the same course as me at the same campus and hopefully going to the same building on the first day of Tafe (orientation). Me and my older (and somwhat equally deranged) sibling ended up having lunch with the two friends, Mike and Vanessa at HJ´s (which is Mike fault because he *is* a HJ´s addict in denial) for lunch and met another insane friend called Bryce who is going in the same campus as us three, because Vanessa is going to Bentley campus (which I don´t know where the hell it is) and Matt is going to Freo campus for his course (which is absolutely ridiculous, because of how far he´ll have to go to get there, for crying out loud). Bryce introduces himself (and his unnamed friend) to us on the train on the way home from Perth and he wants to be a fashion designer; he asks us what he *could* wear on the first day which is a pair of pink ugg boots (with included decorative pom-poms), a black singlet, a *very colourful* wig and shorts which will be an insane bunch of colours because according to him, he *is* going to be studying to be a fashion designer, he *does* have an excuse to dress comically in Tafe for the first day ;) of which I find hilarious and very refreshing to see and hear. When I came to pick up files with my sister, I saw *a lot* of ´goths´ (or as I put it, a lot of stupid, so called *depressed people* who liked wearing all black to attract a lot of flies as possible on a hot summer´s day). I guess a lot of them *are busting* to waste precious art supplies, especially black and red paint and canvas to prove something to rest of us who know better. Vanessa, Mike, my sister, myself and hopefully Matt plan on meeting up again in Perth for Australia Day, which would be nice.

Nothin' Much...

Yes, you've read the title, nothing much going on in my life right now, except for work and plus I've been downloading a lot of J-pop and J-rock stuff lately, a new trainee came to work today to my suprise (who is still a lower school kid) and plus Dean at work says I should be a jockey because of my height... Grrr! Can't till I can knock him out, lightly fry him with the fryer, tie him up and leave him to freeze in the damned freezer to fall "asleep" or better yet, to die, heh heh.

Maybe I could just tie him up and let the fridge do the work for me; it doesn't have any handle on the outside and plus he's a kitchenhand :P

Coffee, Coffee, Cooooffffeeeeee!!

I caught up with some old friends of mine yesterday and hung about in Armadale shopping city and near the general area yesterday and before getting treated to some Gloria Jean's coffee :) and getting lots of energy to boot! We then tried out all of the nice looking sofas, chairs and beds at Harvey Norman during the incoming rush of caffeine. That's all I can remember right now... I'll complete this post at a much later time.

We were all thinking of getting a small bagful but we all thought (and said) "Ah, screw it!" to the idea.

I remembered Matthew not finishing the rest of his coffee because of the bitterness. I recalled saying to him that "Coffee is an acquired taste." And also, the "word verification" words change everytime you log in to post a comment, just to let you know.

Creative
You're the more creative side of Miyavi. You love
creating and accomplishing your goals. You most
likely either write music and/or draw and
you're rather good at it too, because of how
much you practice at it. Perfecting your talent
is your mission, along with having fun with it.
Maybe you also love to experiment with all
sorts of things, ranging from fashions to
chemicals, to even lives. Everything is a
possibility to you just as it was for Miyavi.
Just known your creativity may not surpass the
MYV master, he is just too good.

What side of Miyavi resembles you best?

Happy Bloody New Year

Hooray, hooray! It's January the first, 2006! Already, a year of slight anger, bitterness and semi-happiness has gone by for me. Whoop-dee-doo! I started off the first day of the first month of the new year doing some gardening with the rest of my family, despite the fact my family is known for their impatience with things gardening and not having a green thumb needed for such a task and also not usually being bothered to tend to the garden. After getting all of the fallen tree branches off the lawn (a dead lawn, if you know what I mean), it turns out that my parents can't bring the already full trailer to the tip because of this day being a holiday and all, I'm actually surprised that they had bothered to do the gardening after all these years. I went to a friend's house for a while after doing the laundry (even though I didn't get to drive my parent's automatic car for some driving practice without an instructor doing a Dutch uncle on me) and watch a few DVD movies and did bugger all for the rest of the day. By the way, Happy New Year.
